About us

The National Pensioners' Education and Welfare Centre was launched as a charity by Jack Jones, the National Pensioners Convention and the Greater London Forum for Older People in the late 1990s, with the aim of advancing older people’s education and knowledge.

Our long-term aim remains to establish a Pensioners’ Centre in London which can become a hive of information and activity for the pensioners’ movement across the country.

Membership is open to both individuals and organisations that share our aim of ensuring older people have the knowledge necessary to improve their quality of their lives.
